Child CPR (4 hrs) The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Program is a first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program to prepare individuals to respond to injuries and sudden illnesses that may arise in the workplace. This program offers a choice of first aid and CPR course and injury-control modules to meet the training needs of employers and their employees. The purpose of the ARC Child CPR course is to give individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in children until emergency medical services can arrive on scene. Upon successful completion each participant will receive an American Red Cross Child CPR certificate that is valid for 1 year.
