CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (8 hrs) The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Program is a first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program to prepare individuals to respond to injuries and sudden illnesses that may arise in the workplace. This program offers a choice of first aid and CPR course and injury-control modules to meet the training needs of employers and their employees. A course designed for those with a duty to act, with focus on proficiency in skills required to save adult, child and infant victims in respiratory or cardiac distress, plus 2-rescuer CPR, additional airway management procedures, universal precautions, use of barrier devices and AED's. Designed for - RN students, Lifeguards, Emergency Medical Technicians, ski patrol, police officers, firefighters and health professionals. Upon successful completion each participant will receive an American Red Cross Infant & Child CPR certificate that is valid for 1 year.
