Workplace First Aid and Adult CPR (4 hrs) The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Program is a first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program to prepare individuals to respond to injuries and sudden illnesses that may arise in the workplace. This program offers a choice of first aid and CPR course and injury-control modules to meet the training needs of employers and their employees. The purpose of the ARC Workplace Training: Standard First Aid course is to give individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic first aid for injuries and sudden illnesses and provide care until emergency medical services can arrive on scene. This course does not include information on breathing or cardiac emergencies. Upon successful completion each participant will receive an American Red Cross First Aid certificate that is valid for 3 years and an Adult CPR certificate that is valid for 1 year.
