Our company uses a training philosophy that provides its' students with a foundation of instruction in the various concepts and techniques presently used by rescuers across the country. Our Instructors challenge their students to question "How" and "Why" techniques work and encourages its' student to develop problem solving skills. We present "Real World" scenarios that press our students to apply themselves actively during class discussions, group forums and practical exercises. Using this practice we prepare the student to utilize various techniques that will instill confidence and the know how to maintain personal safety. In turn this ideology will achieve a successful outcome, whether this consists of an employee performing a confined space entry, a technical rescuer responding to an incident, or a climber wishing to strengthen their rope safety skills.

Over the Edge, Inc. also prides itself in continuing to build on and improve rescue and rope techniques developed by some of the leaders in the field.

Over the Edge, Inc staff actively maintains membership with NASAR, ASTM, NFPA, IRECA, and ORCA in order to remain current with standards and regulations and bring this information to our students and clients. Over the Edge, Inc. continues to make rescuer safety our first priority!
